Sony Walkman WM-DD2 1984

Description

Sony Walkman WM-DD2 1984. Condition is "Used". Shipped with UPS Ground. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE about this walkman: 1)The center gear crack was fixed not by me but a previous owner in the past. 2) Sometimes when starting the cassette player it begins to play very slow, as it keeps running it starts to speed up and also if you gently tap it in the center right below the play button it begins to speed up. 3) The release button to open the cover is missing a spring so to prevent it from opening while in use I put a tiny piece of cardboard to keep the button in place. I cut it the same size and shape as the button so it’s not noticeable and slides pretty good to release the door and to lock it. 4) It doesn’t play very well outside during very cold temperatures it will actually slow down its speed. Im not an expert on electronics so I don’t know why this happens but it’s never given me issues indoors or outdoors in warmer weather. 5) The “It’s a sony” sticker is starting to come off (see pictures) Beautiful Walkman and one of the best ones I’ve owned.
